The Martha’s Vineyard Vision Fellowship program announces with pleasure the appointment of 13 new Vision Fellows for 2017. Since its inception in 2005, the Vision Fellowship has sought to encourage and support Island-based individuals who demonstrate passion for the Island’s people and natural environment and who recognize the importance of sustaining both. The 2017 Fellows join the existing community of 71 current and past fellows and their mentors and sponsoring organizations. Each selected individual has demonstrated talent, passion and/or expertise in fields that are vital to the future sustainability of the Island, and shows great promise for short-and long-term impact in areas that are high priorities for the program.

The Martha’s Vineyard Vision Fellowship program is pleased to announce the appointment of 12 new Vision Fellows for 2016. Since its inception in 2005, the Vision Fellowship’s primary objective has been to support Island-based individuals who are engaged in careers and projects that contribute to the overall sustainability of the Vineyard. The 2016 Fellows join the existing community of 57 past and current fellows and their mentors and sponsoring organizations. Each individual selected has demonstrated talent, passion and/or expertise in fields that are vital to the future sustainability of the Island, and show the most promise for short-and long-term impact in areas that are a high priority for the program.

The deadline for nominations for the 2016 Vision Fellowship program has been extended until Friday, December 11th, 2015. All nominations should be made in accordance with the instructions found under the “Apply” section of the website.

For nominees who subsequently are invited to apply for a 2017 Vision Fellowship, the application deadline is Friday, February 10th, 2017.

The Martha’s Vineyard Vision Fellowship is pleased to announce ten Vision Fellowship Awards for 2015. This year’s applicants all impressed the selection committee with their passion for and vision in many of the Fellowship’s areas of interest, all of which emphasize Island sustainability. The 2015 Fellows join the Vision Fellowship community of 44 past and current fellows and all of their mentors and collaborators.

The deadline for submission of nomination papers for potential applicants for a 2015 Martha’s Vineyard Vision Fellowship is Thursday, December 4th by 5:00 p.m. Please review this website for information about nominations. For nominees who proceed to the application process, all applications, together with all supporting documents, are due by Friday, February 13th, 2015.

The Martha’s Vineyard Vision Fellowship is pleased to announce the appointment of ten new Vision Fellows. The 2014 pool of applicants impressed the selection committee with dedication, passion and vision in many of the Fellowship’s areas of interest. The decision process was challenging.
