I arrived on the Island from Brazil in 2001. Although everything was completely new to me, my desire to excel and achieve was still the same. Currently, I just entered the fifth year of the PharmD program at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
As the days go by, I can not be more certain that I am in the right field. I decided to become a pharmacist in order to have a more influential role in the lives of people, thus allowing me to impact healthcare in aspects such as quality, price and accessibility.
After working on various projects with Dr. David Caron, Jr. of the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, I will be partaking in a research fellowship at my school. My objective is to further my skills and knowledge related to the diverse fields of pharmacy which will hopefully enable me to make a difference in the future.
