Olivia Gross
As a 2010 Vision Fellow, Olivia Gross earned her B.S. in Dietetics, Nutrition & Food Sciences with a minor in Food Systems from the University of Vermont in 2014. After a yearlong Dietetic Internship, the next necessary step on the path to becoming a Registered Dietitian, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, Olivia in 2015, Olivia returned to MA, sat for the national examination to become a Registered Dietitian, and got a job as a clinical dietitian at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA. She worked there caring for patients in the ICU, neurology unit, and ALS clinic for almost 2 years before she found myself eager for a role that would allow her to impact patients on a greater scale, treating the whole patient rather than focusing on their nutrition only. In 2018, Olivia was accepted to Boston University School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant Program. She completed the degree in August 2020 and took a position with Dana Farber. In spring 2022, Olivia returned to the Island to a full-time Physician Assistant position in the Infusion and Oncology clinic at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital.
